Oh you have to keep going with that novel. Thank you for writing about it here and about faith, it's all going to take some pondering, but that's good. I haven't been able to fully articulate my similar resignation from the church, but some of what you've said here lies within it. It's interesting that in Herman Hesse's novel on Buddhism the hero Siddhartha also renounces what is seen as a successful religious life to become a ferryman. Between Susan's Pies and storytelling you have found your own ministry giving sustenance to so many different people that come your way and help them on their onward journey. Now you have your own road to travel, and I know that at times it may seem lonely, but we are praying that you will encounter Christ's loving ministry in unsung and unexpected places. You have those wonderful words of St Paul 'My power is made perfect in weakness' to hold on to as you step out into the coming days.
God bless you and keep you.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06957953515908282978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5674793175469434375.post-79743997581928216862015-04-27T09:40:34.413+01:002015-04-27T09:40:34.413+01:00Beautifully written, can't wait to read your &...Beautifully written, can't wait to read your 'novel'. xxxxxxxLinda Pagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05340410241826643149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5674793175469434375.post-66291822333203895922015-04-27T09:38:54.914+01:002015-04-27T09:38:54.914+01:00Beautifully written.
